97. Hopscotch

So I’m a bit behind on posts. I’ve just been lazy as far as writing these. Still have been watching the movies.

So I guess this was Saturday that I watched Hopscotch. It came up when I was looking at Walter Matthau films.

Hopscotch is a nice little spy comedy film. The movie boils down to the CIA hunting Walter Matthau’s character (a recent ex-CIA agent). Basically it’s the shenanigans of how dumb the guys are chasing Matthau. The simplicity of what is going on is not a negative comment. The movie was great and holds up. It really isn’t bound by any time standard other than some references to Cold War tensions which aren’t serious.

There’s a great cast besides Matthau and it’s a nice comedy film to watch. Well worth it.
