35. Insomnia

I decided I was in the mood for a nice thriller and Insomnia struck a chord since I haven’t seen it in a while. It still stands up.

It’s not the most riveting, but it is good. Nice story and overall just good. Robin Williams and Al Pacino are good together as well. I mean Williams went to Juilliard it’s not like he’s just some stand-up who decided to try acting, he was trained. I’m biased though. I’ve loved Williams stand-up and acting from an early age and have a hard time disliking him. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t done shitty movies, but he usually is pretty good and this flick is no exception.

Nothing overtly amazing, but defiantly worth the watch if you’re in the mood for a thriller. It is rather depressing, dark, and just kinda slow. It’s not gonna lift your spirits.
